What is a benefit of VRRP?

VRRP, or Virtual Router Redundancy Protocol, is a network protocol that provides high availability by allowing multiple routers to work together in order to represent a single virtual IP address and default gateway. The primary benefit of VRRP is increased network availability and reliability. Here are key benefits of VRRP:

    • VRRP enables multiple routers to work together in a group, with one router acting as the "master" (active) and the others as "backup" (standby).
